Lawn leveling provides a smooth even surface across your yard, making it easier to maintain and a nicer surface to enjoy. A leveled yard also ensures proper drainage and even distribution of water. Your lawn will also be easier to mow and when using a reel mower, lawn leveling is a prerequisite.

New lawns may be uneven due to settling or gaps in between sod pieces. Over time, lawns can becoming uneven, especially older lawns. For best results, leveling should be done annually during the active growing season. We are able to use a mixture of sand and compost or sand for those lawns requiring minor leveling. Level mix is applied up to 1/2" to prevent turf damage. Multiple applications may be required. 1 cubic yard typically covers 650 square feet.
